Senior Software Engineer at IRESS FS Limited in Cheltenham, PA
You will contribute to the design, development, delivery and support of business solutions, working as part of a talented and motivated cross functional engineering team where you will develop, maintain and support Iress' services. This role would suit someone who is keen to remain a hands-on Developer but also enjoys sharing their knowledge and skill with others, coaching and mentoring more junior members of the team and wider business. What we need are talented people who really understand code. You'll have solid experience building solutions with C#, .NET core, TDD, Web API and REST API. Some familiarity with React, Terraform and CI/CD would be beneficial. A working knowledge of Cloud technologies, ideally AWS, would also be highly advantageous. The way we do things is just as important as the end result to us and we expect the same from you - you'll need to have an understanding of DevOps concepts that improve the software delivery process such as TDD, CI/CD and IaC, as well as a background working within cross-functional, agile teams. Strong communication skills are key and you'll need to be comfortable liaising with both technical and non technical colleagues as well as clients directly, with experience of seeing a project through the life cycle of development and into production.
