Pete's Collision Center - We are seeking a motivated Business Editor to lead a team of skilled journalists and usher its business coverage into a new era that serves readers across multiple platforms.Job
Responsibilities:
Manages a team of writers and is responsible for curating fresh, relevant, and informative content.Directs creation of new content and determines when and how to re-surface prior work during relevant news.Helps the team craft and refine ideas, cultivate sources, report, and write articles on a daily basis.Oversees social media, graphics, and a web production related to business coverage.Brainstorms new stories, series, concepts, themes, and formats including but not limited to podcasts, digital and print media.Recruits writers and contributes to the development of a high-quality writer pool.Requirements:
Qualifications / Skills:
Strong editorial background and proofreading skillsExperience adhering to editorial and technical style guidesOral and written communicationComfortable with frequent cross-functional and senior management contactPersonable and willing to be active in the local business communityThis position will be expected to attend business events and get to know the major players within the Albuquerque business scene. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
